Myth Busted

Proof that Yahweh is ONE God.

Here are numerous Scripture verses which CLEARLY state that Yahweh God is One. Yeshua himself in his own words proclaimed that God is One., and the  Old Covenant makes NO  mention of a 'tri-une God'.

1. Deuteronomy 4:35,39 — Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that Yahweh he is Elohim; there is none else beside him.. (39) Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that Yahweh he is Elohim in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

2. Deuteronomy 6:4 — Hear, O Israel: Yahweh our Elohim is one Yahweh:. [Note in Mark 12:28-34 how Jesus and a Jewish scribe he encountered understood this text.] And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? And Yahshua answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; Yahweh our Elohim is one Yahweh: And thou shalt love Yahweh thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Teacher, thou hast said the truth: for there is one Elohim; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Yahshua saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of Elohim. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

3. Deuteronomy 32:39 — See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no mighty one with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

4. 2 Samuel 7:22 —Wherefore thou art great, O Yahweh Elohim: for there is none like thee, neither is there any Elohim beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

5. 1 Kings 8:60That all the people of the earth may know that Yahweh is Elohim, and that there is none else.

12. Isaiah 37:16,20 — O Yahweh of hosts, Elohim of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the Elohim, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth. (20) Now therefore, O Yahweh our Elohim, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Yahweh, even thou only.

13. Isaiah43:10,11 — Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.

14. Isaiah44:6,8 — Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.Fear ye not, neither be afraid; have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

15. Isaiah 45:21 — Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time: who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.

16. Isaiah 46:9 — Remember the former things of old: for I am El, and there is none else; I am Elohim, and there is none like me,

17. Hosea 13:4 — Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me; for there is no savior beside me.

19. Zechariah 14:9 — And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

20. Mark 12:29-34 —And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

FURTHER SCRIPTURE PROOFS SHOWING YESHUA IS NOT GOD or THE SAME AS YAHWEH GOD

Peter 1:17 : “For he received honor and glory from the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

This scripture not only tells where Yeshua's glory came from, but also when…and it is critical. Jesus did not possess any glory on his own, it was given by the Father to him when he was 30 years old in front of witnesses at Jesus’ baptism. If he was deity in his own right, he would not have needed the Father to give glory to him, nor would he have had to wait until his baptism to receive it. Here, it is stressed in the scriptures that Jesus is God’s SON, not God himself. This points to Jesus’ subordinate place along the side of his Father. It is therefore reasonable to deduce that they are NOT equal.

Bart D Erhman mentions 1 Tim 3:16 ("Christ [not "God"] was manifested in the flesh") and 1 John 5:7 ("For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."), as well as the longer ending of Mark's Gospel (i.e. Mk 16:9ff.). All of these texts have long been acknowledged by true Christians as not representing the original. Yet, the doctrines of the deity of Christ, the Trinity are all fabrications of doctrine and myth and so Erhman's suggestion, that the doctrinal basis for such doctrines is not authentic.
1 Thessalonians 5:21    Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Ø     Mark 13:32"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. If Messiah was God, he would know that day, that is the End of this system of things.  The Omnipotent God knows all things because with him no declaration will be impossible.

Ø      John 7:16 Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. Here Jesus or Yahushua is referring to another person, thus showing they are two distinct beings. Furthermore the One who does the sending is far superior in rank to the one who is sent.

Ø     1 Corinthians 11:3: Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is YHWH [Jehovah or Yahweh] - Is a man and woman literally the same person? No, well neither is Christ and God, for how could God be head over his own self. Rather God is head over all his creatures including the Celestial Christ.

Ø     1 Corinthians 15:28:When Jesus or Yahushua  hands over the kingdom to his God and Father ,then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. God is subject to no one and it would be blasphemy to imply

such a thing, but Christ is eternally subject to the Maker of all things.

Ø     Ephesians 1:3-Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Consequently, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø     Ephesians 1:17I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Again, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø     1 Peter 1:3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, A 3 rd time, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø     Revelation 1:6 -Jesus has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.  A 4th time, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø      Micah 5:4-Jesus will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of YHWH, in the majesty of the name of YHWH his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth. A 5th time, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø      John 20:17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' A 6th time, our Lord Jesus has a God over him.

Ø      Revelation 3:12- Jesus said, ‘Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, A 7th time, our Lord Jesus has a God over him. Now understand this that the number 7 in the Bible represents completeness, so these 7 scriptures testify that our God is completely over Jesus in rank, eternity, power and might and majesty.

Ø     Mark 12: 28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?"

29"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, YHWH our God, YHWH is One.[e] 30 Love YHWH your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind and with all your strength.'[f] 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'[g]There is no commandment greater than these."  32"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is One and there is no other but him. See the Book- They loved the Torah-The fact that Messiah attended and taught in the Yahudi Temple validates the idea that He followed Torah and obeyed God’s Holy Torah. A quote in the book sums it up well "Both Jewish and Christian scholars clearly see that Yeshua followed the Torah." Thus if Jesus claimed any kind of Divinity with the Father he would have violated the greatest commandment ever given by God.

Ø     Let God explain his Son position and rank. Look at - Psalms 89:26-29-Messiah will call out to me, 'You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior.'27 I will also appoint Messiah as my firstborn, the most exalted of the kings of the earth. 28 I will maintain my love to him forever, and my covenant with him will never fail.29 I will establish Messiah’s line forever and his throne as long as the heavens endure. Clearly, God is speaking of the Messiah another being distinct from himself, one who was exalted because of his obedience and devotion to our Heavenly Father.

Ø     Revelation 4: 1-2 After these things I saw, and, look! an opened door in heaven, and the first voice that I heard was as of a trumpet, speaking with me, saying: “Come on up here, and I shall show you the things that must take place.” 2 After these things I immediately came to be in [the power of the] spirit: and, look! a throne was in its position in heaven, and there is One seated upon the throne. So the Messiah is not seated on the Throne in heaven. So where is he seated I will show you. Revelation 14:14 -And I saw, and, look! a white cloud, and upon the cloud someone seated like a son of man[Jesus], with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. So in heaven YHWH the God of angelic host sits on his throne of glory, majesty and power over the heavens above the heavens, where as the Messiah sits on his throne of glory, majesty and riches over the Earth. We come to the conclusion of two distinct beings with great diversity of throne ship, and furthermore no one compares to the incomparable majesty of Almighty God who is the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen-1 Timothy 1:17.

The trinity idea is NOT in harmony with the Scriptures

Does the word of Yahweh God  and the trinity doctrine agree on who he is? :

1. THE BIBLE says the Father–a single person–is the “only true God.” (John 17:3).
1A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says that “every Person [of the trinity] BY HIMSELF [is] God.” That’s THREE GODS!

2. THE BIBLE says that “for us there is one God, the Father." (1 Cor. 8:6)
2A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says “we worship one God IN TRINITY.”

3. THE BIBLE says the “Father is greater…” (John 14:28)
3A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says: “In this trinity, NONE is greater…”

4. THE BIBLE says Jesus is the Son of God. (John 20:31)
4A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says “Jesus IS God,” which makes him a different God from the “one God in trinity."

5. THE BIBLE says the “Father is greater…” (John 14:28)
5A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE say that “the whole three persons [of the trinity] are “co-equal.”

6. THE BIBLE says the holy spirit is not God, but a possession of God and that he gives it to deserving ones. As 1 Thess. 4:8 says: “Therefore, whoever disregards this, disregards not a human being but God, who (also) gives HIS holy Spirit to you.”

6A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says that “the holy spirit IS God.” However, A Catholic Dictionary says: “On the whole, the New Testament, like the Old, speaks of the spirit as a divine energy or power.” It adds: “The majority of New Testament texts reveal God’s spirit as someTHING, not someONE.”

7. THE BIBLE says that the Father is the ONLY person that “the true worshipers” (Christians) should worship. (John 4:23)
7A. THE TRINITY DOCTRINE says: “The trinity in unity is to be worshiped.”

So, do the Bible and the trinity doctrine agree on who God is? Absolutely not! As the New Catholic Encyclopedia says, the trinity “is NOT directly and immediately the Word of God.”
